Parking

Most of the time there is plenty of parking on Front St. on a nearby side street. There is also a pay lot behind and just to the south of the Theater, facing Delaware Ave.

Volunteers and Staffing

We are always looking for skilled individuals for both unpaid internship and eventually paid positions assisting the 941 Theater and PFPA with various staffing, promotion and production duties. Get involved with all aspects of projected and live arts and have fun doing it! College credit and other benefits available.

We are currently seeking motivated interns who seek to develop or practice any of the following skills: promotions, press relations, event planning, film / television production, web / graphic design, copy writing / journalism. 12 hr week minimum.

After seeing what your strengths are, there is possibility to advance to a paid position amongst the 941 Theater staff, both at the theater and in the office.

The 941 Theater is a non-profit institution under the management of the Philadelphia Friends of the Projected Arts, Inc. Donations are tax deductible. If interested, please email Doug Sakmann at doug@941theater.com.

The 941 Theater has a sponsorship program set up which offers extensive multi-media promotional benefits on many levels to donating sponsors. Tax-deductible donations can be paid to the associated non-profit, the Philadelphia Friends of the Projected Arts, Inc. Contact sponsor coordinator Doug Sakmann at doug@941theater.com for more information on how you can benefit from supporting the 941 Theater.

The 941 Theater is available for non-profits that want to host fund raisers at the space. We are willing to join forces and make it a co-production with the Friends of the Projected Arts, Inc. for a percentage of the money raised to go towards our non-profit.

Additionally, the 941 Theater hosts their own fund raisers for the Philadelphia Friends of the Projected Arts and invites other non-profits, groups and private donors to get involved as well.
